Lindsey Greeson, MS
Assistant Director, Certified Health Education Specialist
Lindsey has a passion for promoting student well-being and resiliency. As an assistant director, she supports all population-based public health initiatives on campus. She chairs the Sexual Violence Prevention & Education Committee and co-advises the Tulane University Peer Health Educators (TUPHEs). Recognizing that health is a vital part of learning, she is committed to providing programs, services, and resources that create a campus culture which enhances and extends learning beyond the classroom. Lindsey received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Community Health from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, and her master's degree in Community Health from the University of West Florida.

La' Tesha Hinton, MSPH
Assistant Director, Certified Health Education Specialist
La' Tesha co-advises the Tulane Peer Health Educator (TUPHE) program and is a trained facilitator for BASICS, Sober Event Monitors, GYT and One Wave. On a daily basis, she interacts and connects one-on-one with students to discuss various health topics such as alcohol and other drug use, sexual health, and mental well-being to support their academic success and enhance their ability to optimally thrive. La' Tesha completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana. She received her Master of Science in Public Health degree in Tropical Medicine concentrating in Parasitology from Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She had the opportunity to work as a graduate assistant at The Well when she attended Tulane and that's when she fell in love with college health promotion. 

Mark E. Knapp, MPH
Health Promotion Specialist, Certified Health Education Specialist
Mark attended Emory University where he received his BA, majoring in International Studies and minoring in Global Health. He earned his Master of Public Health from Tulane University, concentrating on program design and implementation. At The Well, Mark's primary responsibilities are facilitating BASICS, the harm-reduction program around alcohol and drugs, as well as planning The Well's events on campus, such as Wellness Wednesday. In addition, he supports all programs, services, and initiatives by The Well and its partners on campus.

Shawn Verbeten, MA
Health Promotion Specialist
Shawn attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education. He continued his education at The University of Alabama where he received a Master of Arts in Health Studies. At The Well, Shawn specializes in mental health promotion. His primary duties involve suicide prevention trainings, implementing mental health communication and marketing campaigns, coordinating mindfulness initiatives, and facilitating BASICS, a harm-reduction strategy designed to decrease risk around alcohol and drug use. In addition to these responsibilities, Shawn assists in the planning and implementation of various campus workshops and events.

Meagan Fuller, MPH
Health Promotion Specialist, Certified Health Education Specialist
Meagan earned her Master of Public Health, concentrating in Health Communication, from Tulane University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Women's Studies from the University of Alabama. Meagan's health promotion perspective stems from a social justice framework. Her primary responsibilities at The Well focus on sexual violence prevention initiatives, including One Wave Bystander Intervention training. Meagan also co-chairs the Health Communication subcommittee for Tulane's Sexual Violence Prevention Education Coalition. 

Brittney Hamer
Project Assistant
Brittney attended Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS where she studied Social Work. Brittney's primary responsibilities include oversight of front desk operations, student hiring, management of inventory and purchasing, and coordination Massage Monday & Thursdays.

Dana Miller, BS
Graduate Assistant
Dana Miller attended Tulane University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health while minoring in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health in Health Systems Management at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dana's primary responsibilities at The Well include aiding in campus distribution of safer sex supplies, developing content for The Well's health communication newsletters, and assisting with Get Yourself Tested (GYT) at The Health Center.
