Biography
Dr. Dani Archie is a Licensed Psychologist and received his PhD in Counseling Psychology from University of Central Arkansas. In addition to providing therapeutic services, he also serves as the Training Coordinator of the predoctoral practicum program. Dani has received extensive training, conducted research, and has expertise in providing affirming mental health care for LGBQ and transgender/non-binary adults and adolescents. He has provided numerous trainings on working with these populations to mental health professionals and other healthcare providers throughout the country. Dani has experience working with a variety of presenting concerns such as grief, mood disorders, and different interpersonal issues. Dani’s approach to therapy is strengths-based and recognizes the importance of a collaborative, trusting relationship between the therapist and client. He strives to tailor treatment to the needs and preferences of each client and creates a non-judgmental space for clients to develop insight into their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and needs. Dani enjoys painting, pottery, and origami as well as playing with his cats, being outdoors, and traveling.
