Hurricane Ida Update: All Campus Health services including the Health Center for Student Care, Counseling Center, and Pharmacy are currently closed for in person appointments due to Hurricane Ida until 9/27. Campus Health will reopen for telehealth appointments on 9/21. For medical needs, the Nurse Advice Line is active and can help you make decisions about whether to make an appointment with an outside health care provider, how to take self-care measures, how to renew prescriptions or answer medication questions, and much more. Call 504-862-8121, leave a message, and a nurse will return your call. For mental health support and crisis support, The Line is available 24/7 to Tulane students. Call The Line at (504) 264-6074. We are not able to retrieve medications left behind on campus or to ship medications from the Student Health Center at this time.

"I'm sick! What do I do?"

When you're sick and not sure which way to turn, Campus Health wants you to know your options.

  1. Start by learning more about your symptoms and self-care options.
  2. Get nurse assistance by phone or through a same-day appointment at the Uptown Health Center.
  3. Schedule an appointment: Call for personal assistance or use our Patient Portal.

Urgent Care Options

If you are experiencing urgent symptoms, and you don’t see an appointment in the Patient Portal or need to be seen sooner than the first available appointment shown, either:
(a) call the Health Center for personal assistance to schedule an appointment or
(b) request a same-say appointment at the Uptown Health Center.
