In addition to our regular appointment schedule, the Health Center offers same-day assessments with a nurse (no appointment required) and 24/7 nurse advice by phone.

Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m., and 1:00-4:00 p.m. 
Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

What to expect if you walk-in for a nurse assessment

Wait Time: Please prepare to wait. The length of wait time to see a nurse fluctuates.

Check-In: Check-in and complete the registration process with the patient representative on the first floor during walk-in nurse hours.

Health Insurance: You will be asked to provide insurance information, including a copy or image of the card. If you are not the policyholder, you must provide the date of birth (month/day/year) of the policy

Walk-in Nurse Queue: After registration, patients are seen based on arrival time and urgency of symptoms.

Your Visit: When you see the nurse, the nurse will ask about your symptoms and, if necessary, test for specific infections, like strep or flu.

Outcomes of the nurse assessment include:

  • Self-care recommendations
  • Schedule you with a provider on the same day
  • Schedule you with a provider within 24-48 hours
