The Office of Substance Abuse and Recovery (OSAR) provides assessment, treatment, outreach, and recovery services for Tulane University students. OSAR focuses on helping individuals recognize, define and be responsible for substance use by using a personalized, holistic, and nonjudgmental approach.

First appointment for students to discuss presenting concerns and to receive information about assessment and treatment processes (30 minutes).
If short-term psychotherapy is determined to be the appropriate treatment, the student will have up to 12 sessions available.
OSAR can provide referrals to appropriate services both on campus and off campus.
