The Student Health and Wellness Fee supports the operations of Campus Health, which offers Tulane Students comprehensive medical, mental health, and health promotion services through The Health Center for Student Care, CAPS for Counseling Services, and The Well for Health Promotion.
All visits at The Health Center will require the collection of co-pays, co-insurances, or deductibles at the time of visit. The Health Center will accept credit card payment or can bill your charges to Accounts Receivable. All unpaid charges will be automatically transmitted to Accounts Receivable. Beginning in the 2017-2018 academic year, Campus Health will bill third-party insurance. Review the Financial Policy & Student Responsibility details.
All students who have paid the Student Health and Wellness Fee have access to Campus Health services or programs.
Please note that the Student Health and Wellness fee is not insurance nor does it provide health insurance.
Services that incur additional charges may include (but are not limited to) the following:
Payment for these services is expected at the time of service. Campus Health accepts most credit cards, Splash/debit cards and Accounts Receivable as payment for services. Campus Health will bill the student's account for any unpaid charges.
Any person presenting in acute distress and in need of immediate attention or service, will be assessed and cared for based on best practice which could include calling New Orleans Emergency Medical Services (NOEMS) or a referral to a community provider. The mission of Campus Health is to ensure that all students receive the best and most appropriate care possible. Read more about emergency care.
