NOTICE: All UPTOWN Campus Health services (Health Center, Pharmacy, CAPS) will CLOSE EARLY at 3:00pm on Thursday, October 9 due to the football game. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Phone System Issue Affecting Call Transfers
The Health Centers for Student Care, both uptown and downtown, are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our phone system. While calls to our main number are still coming through, our staff members are temporarily unable to transfer calls or schedule appointments over the phone.

To schedule an appointment, please use one of the following options:

  1. Visit us in person during business hours (check in at the second-floor desk).
  2. Self-schedule through the Patient Portal.
  3. Email campushealth@tulane.edu for scheduling assistance.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.

NOTICE: The Pharmacy will CLOSE for lunch from 12:00-1:00pm on Monday, October 6, Tuesday, October 7, Thursday, October 9, and Friday, October 10.

Telehealth Appointments

If you are currently located in Louisiana and need medical or mental health care, schedule a virtual visit with one of our providers. The majority of appointments can initially be seen via telehealth, and then a provider will direct you to schedule an in-person visit if necessary.

Please note that some students (ex: part-time students, School of Professional Advancement students, etc.) are not automatically assessed the university's mandatory Campus Health Fee. These students must pay the semester fee to have access to services provided by Campus Health, including telehealth services. The fee will be charged at the time of service. Learn more about the Campus Health Fee.

Scheduling and Connecting to Telehealth

Please see our guides linked below to scheduling telehealth appointments and connecting to telehealth appointments in the Patient Portal.

Canceling Telehealth Appointments

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, sign into the Patient Portal to cancel at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

If it is within two hours of your appointment time, please call us at 504-865-5255.

Telehealth Tips

Telehealth appointments may feel awkward or unfamiliar to some patients, but there are best practices to ensure that you receive a high quality experience, just as you would in-person. Please see our guide linked below for getting the most out of your telehealth experience.
