Insurance & Billing

Access to health care and adequate health insurance are essential to your health, and to your ability to achieve your goals at Tulane.

That’s why Tulane requires all degree-seeking students and Tulane-sponsored students in J-1 status to maintain adequate, quality medical insurance.

Please notify the Health Center of any changes in your health insurance coverage.

Billing for Services

Students must present a printed insurance card when visiting the Health Center or Pharmacy. Most visits to the Health Center require the collection of co-pays, co-insurances, or deductibles.

Access to Campus Health

All students who pay the University's Campus Health Fee have access to Campus Health services. This fee is collected with tuition and fees for most degree-seeking (full-time undergraduate, graduate and professional)students.
