Body Respect Week is  November 7-11, 2022, and will bring the Tulane community comprehensive, queer-inclusive, culturally specific, body-positive health events. The goal for this week is to help Tulane students shift their thinking from having to love their body towards respecting their body. We hope that students understand that respect carries reciprocal energy. Your body will honor you when you honor it.

Focus on the mind-body connection through this fusion class of Pilates, yoga, and meditation to set greater intentions for ourselves. Campus Recreation and The Well for Health Promotion are teaming up and invite you to celebrate bodies through movement in this special edition of mind-body connect Pilates. Taking place November 7 -11th, Body Respect Week will bring the Tulane community comprehensive, queer-inclusive, culturally specific, body-positive health events.

Rejuvenate your body and mind through a slow flow followed by guided breathing exercises and reflection. All experience levels are welcome to join this calming, meditative class.

Body Respect Week is November 7-11 and will bring the Tulane community queer-inclusive, holistic, body-positive health events! The messages we receive about our bodies and health can be confusing and oftentimes misleading. We often are told to love our bodies or to embrace body positivity but Body Respect Week asks us to shift our thinking. Instead, what if we respected our bodies just as they are and for all that they do for us. It invites us to embrace our neutral states, without fear, shame, or pressure.

Kick off Body Respect Week in a special edition Latin Hits Cycle! A 45-minute, beginner-friendly, pedaling experience to celebrate our bodies and all they are capable of. Don't forget to bring a water bottle to this fun (and sweaty) class. Taking place November 7 -11th, Body Respect Week will bring the Tulane community body-positive health events.
