Hurricane Ida Update: All Campus Health services including the Health Center for Student Care, Counseling Center, and Pharmacy are currently closed for in person appointments due to Hurricane Ida until 9/27. Campus Health will reopen for telehealth appointments on 9/21. For medical needs, the Nurse Advice Line is active and can help you make decisions about whether to make an appointment with an outside health care provider, how to take self-care measures, how to renew prescriptions or answer medication questions, and much more. Call 504-862-8121, leave a message, and a nurse will return your call. For mental health support and crisis support, The Line is available 24/7 to Tulane students. Call The Line at (504) 264-6074. We are not able to retrieve medications left behind on campus or to ship medications from the Student Health Center at this time.

We have limited on-site laboratory services (CLIA-waived testing) including:

  • Urine dip screen
  • Rapid strep testing
  • Rapid mononucleosis testing
  • Rapid influenza testing
  • Urine pregnancy testing
  • Rapid HIV testing
  • Stool occult blood testing

All other labs are sent out to LabCorp for processing and results. LabCorp is an independent diagnostic laboratory that processes and bills claims separately from Campus Health. The lab draw station located at the Health Center is provided as a convenience to our students. It's the sole responsibility of the student/insured to verify if LabCorp is a preferred provider under their current healthcare plan. Lab orders can be provided for the lab vendor of your choice. If your health plan requires another vendor, you must notify clinical staff at the beginning of your visit.

LabCorp is the preferred provider for T-SHIP.
