Tulane EMS Members

All members of Tulane EMS are volunteers, selected from undergraduate students at Tulane University. Tulane EMS members are dedicated to learning and enhancing the world around them and have a proven passion for service to others. All members undergo rigorous training – from in-class experience to field practice. Many members are involved in other organizations on campus.

Many members are involved in other organizations on campus. Among Tulane EMS's ranks have been fraternity and sorority presidents, student-athletes, USG and ASB senators, class presidents, and resident advisors. Tulane EMS members represent the best of Tulane. (Don't be surprised if one of your friends or classmates shows up to class in uniform one day.)

Application Process

Tulane EMS holds two rounds of selections each year. Applications are open specifically to freshmen and sophomores who can commit four active semesters* (ex: sophomores who do not plan to go abroad).

Applications may be submitted during advertised selections periods. After applications are submitted, eligible applicants will be contacted by email with an invitation to attend first-round interviews. From there, applicants will sign up for their first-round interview with our selections panel. Selected applicants will then be invited to a second and third (if applicable) interview. A select number of applicants will then be admitted to the organization as determined by the needs of Tulane EMS.

For more information about application timelines and dates, follow Tulane EMS on Instagram @tulane_ems.
