Message to Spring 2025 Graduates:

Graduating this spring? Make sure you have a healthcare plan: find a new provider, request your records, and download your immunization history. See our graduate health checklist for more tips: https://campushealth.tulane.edu/for-you/graduating-students

If you have T-SHIP, coverage lasts through August 18. If you're staying in NOLA for the summer email healthins@tulane.edu by Commencement Day (5/17) to remove the referral requirement.

Tobacco Cessation Resources

Tulane University is a tobacco and smoke-free university.  This means cleaner air for everyone. With the policy in place, tobacco use will be prohibited on all university property. Read the Tobacco and Smoke Free Community Policy.

To remain in compliance with the policy, tobacco users may need to reduce their consumption of or quit using tobacco products. Students, faculty, staff, and contract workers are required to use tobacco off campus if they decide to continue using Tobacco.

It takes the average tobacco user seven tries to quit using tobacco products for good. If you have tried before unsuccessfully, view it as practice for your final quit.

Local Cessation Benefit

Tobacco Users in Louisiana who began smoking prior to September 1, 1988, are eligible for special tobacco cessation benefits through the Smoking Cessation Trust.
