Tropical Weather Service Update - 9/11/24

The Student Health Centers will be physically closed Wednesday, 9/11, and Thursday, 9/12, due to Hurricane Francine. A limited number of telehealth appointments are available on these two days. Phone scheduling is unavailable during this time; scheduling will occur via the Patient Portal only.

If you need medical assistance while we are closed, a 24/7 virtual urgent care service is available through Tulane Telehealth. Learn more at campushealth.tulane.edu/tulane-telehealth.

NOTE: You must be physically located within the state of Louisiana to access telehealth services through the Student Health Centers and through Tulane Telehealth.

Financial Policy and Student Responsibility

Beginning August 27, 2017, Tulane University’s Health Center for Student Care will begin billing insurance companies on behalf of students for services students receive at the Health Center. This is an effort to reduce the out-of-pocket expenses for students and their parents. The Health Center will submit claims to the student’s primary insurance on the student’s behalf. Students will still be responsible for paying their co-pay, co-insurance or deductible, as required by their insurance.

Students must bring their Tulane ID, a form of payment, and a current insurance card to each visit to the Health Center. It is your responsibility to inform us in a timely manner of any changes to your billing/insurance information.
