Attention Campus Partners: If you would like a Campus Health representative to attend your orientation event to give a presentation or bring materials, please visit our Request for Orientations page.

Part-Time, Distance Learning & SoPA Students

Access to Campus Health

Tulane students who are enrolled as part-time (less than 12 credit hours), Distance Learning or Professional Advancement typically are not assessed the University's Campus Health Fee and must pay the semester fee in order to have access to services provided by Campus Health.

Health Insurance

Students who are enrolled as non-degree-seeking (with less than 3 hours) are not eligible to participate in the Tulane-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan (T-SHIP). These students will not be enrolled in T-SHIP unless they have completed their registration process with the registrar's office and have met minimum eligibility requirements.

Please note: All degree-seeking Tulane University students — including Distance Learning, Dissertation, and Research Assistants — are required to carry health insurance coverage equal to or greater than the university requirements. Each year, degree-seeking students must either enroll in the Tulane-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan (T-SHIP) or waive enrollment in this plan by providing proof of other comparable coverage by the posted deadline.

If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact the Student Health Insurance Office.

Immunization Compliance

We encourage students who take classes on any Tulane campus to provide proof of immunization compliance
