Tropical Weather Service Update - 9/10/24

The Student Health Centers will be physically closed Wednesday, 9/11, and Thursday, 9/12, due to inclement weather. A limited number of telehealth appointments are available for Wednesday morning. Phone scheduling will be unavailable tomorrow; scheduling will occur via the Patient Portal only.  

If you need medical assistance while we are closed, a 24/7 virtual urgent care service is available through Tulane Telehealth. Learn more at campushealth.tulane.edu/tulane-telehealth.  

NOTE: You must be physically located within the state of Louisiana to access telehealth services through the Student Health Centers and through Tulane Telehealth.

Outreach

The Well uses a variety of outreach strategies to bring information about health and wellness directly to students.

Live Well Hut 

The Live Well Hut is a mobile outreach program that allows Tulane University Peer Health Educators to feature resources, activities, and giveaways on various wellness-related themes in high-traffic areas on campus. The Live Well Hut is also available by request at University departmental or organizational health fairs on campus.

Live Well Workshops

Workshops are scheduled throughout the year on a variety of wellness topics. Many workshops are led by Tulane University Peer Health Educators and offered in resident halls, classrooms, and student organization meetings.
